What does safeguarding mean?

Safeguarding means that all staff will:

  • Protect you from harm
  • Help to make sure nothing stops you from being happy
  • Make sure you are safely looked after
  • Make sure you have the best life chances
  • Your health, safety and welfare are very important to us
  • We respect all students and help protect their rights

We want you to remain safe, in school and at home

At Kesteven and Sleaford High School we are committed to the safety and happiness of all our students. If you are concerned about another student, please talk to our designated safeguarding lead (Mrs Kopsidas). You can also talk to our deputy safeguarding leads (Mrs Stokes or Mrs Constantine). Or, you can talk to your form tutor or head of year.

All children and young people have the right to:

  • Speak out and be heard
  • Be safe
  • Get help when they need it
