Term 5 - 29 April 2022

Dear Parent/Carer

Happy Summer Term! I hope you and your family enjoyed the sunny Bank Holiday and time together. The summer term already looks excitingly busy here at KSHS! Next newsletter we will share with you the clubs and extra-curricular groups available for students to choose from. Students will be able to sign up in tutor times next week and some clubs have already started this week. We have trips in the planning too, with visits to art galleries in London, theatre trips, and geography fieldwork all planned, as well as the busy season of Duke of Edinburgh expeditions underway.

We are making plans for our Jubilee celebrations at the end of this term too. The last day of term will feature a red, white and blue non-uniform day (tiaras or crowns optional!) with a suggested £1 for the privilege going towards 4 charities the Queen patronises and selected by our House captains. We will share other Jubilee plans including assemblies, lesson activities and student led completions with you in coming newsletters.

Mrs J Smith

Head of School
