Ofqual, the organisation in charge of assessment throughout England, has today announced how it intends to award grades for GCSEs and A levels. Full details can be found in the links below.
We understand that students, parents and carers will be anxious and have many questions but, in accordance with the details from Ofqual, we have to make it very clear that at all information regarding grades and order of students will be confidential and we will not be able to disclose this information to you.
Ofqual have stated that ‘they are working hard to get results out as soon as is possible – results will not be delayed after the dates they were expected in August, and ideally they will be issued a little earlier, so you can have the certainty you need.’
Cancelled Trip Refunds
If you require a refund from a cancelled trip before the school reopens and haven’t already done so, please complete the attached form and return it to the Finance Office and they will make a refund at the earliest opportunity. Thank you.
Teachers have planned for school closure by setting work for students in all year groups. Your child can access this work via any mobile device or a home PC or laptop with internet access. All students have been shown how to do this in tutorials at school.
